6" Guttering

The 6" gutter system features a 6-inch-wide trough allowing for greater water volumes to be removed efficiently from the home. Combining this larger gutter with a 3x4 downspout system will adequately regulate water runoff and is less likely to be overwhelmed by excessive rainfall or clogged by falling debris. The bigger system works great for steeper roof pitches and larger homes. Another great feature of the 6" gutter system is the ease of maintenance, due to the wider channel it is easier to fit hands and tools into the gutter for cleaning.

Chimney Flashing 2.jpg

Chimney Flashing and Cricket Install

Chimneys are notorious for leaking, and the culprit is almost always the sheet metal flashing. You’ll want to install new chimney flashing if it’s missing, rusted through, falling out or completely covered with roofing tar (a typical short-term fix that’s sure to be hiding bigger problems). We hand-brake 26-gauge galvanized sheet metal on-site to the correct angles to perfectly  fit the custom dimensions of your chimney. We score the chimney surface and and bend a tab in the flashing that fits securely into the groove. Finally we seal the  lip with a polyurethane  sealant. (Copper also available)

Key Points

  • A leaky chimney can cause thousands of dollars worth of damage

  • Flashing should be custom made to fit each individual chimney

  • A properly flashed chimney will last a very long time

Ventilation Correction

Improper roof ventilation is very common and may seem like a small issue, but it can actually lead to very expensive repairs and unnecessarily high utility bills. Insufficient roof ventilation is the top contributing factor to premature shingle deterioration.   An investment in proper roof ventilation and attic insulation is an investment in future savings and comfort.

Key Points

  • Roof ventilation can be corrected without doing a full roof replacement

  • Improper ventilation can create many problems for your home such as high utility bills and mold growth

  • Correcting your ventilation now can add years back to your roof covering
